Me as a human resource

So… Why the hell do I have a personal website like I’m Simon Sinek?

I created this website because of my aversion to platforms like LinkedIn, which often encourage unrealistic portrayals of career experiences and can create anxiety for others. It seems as if we’re sacrificing our authenticity and potential for mutual advantage in a struggle to outdo one another.

I wanted to create a space that offers a genuine, unfiltered look at who I am, blending the personal and professional aspects of my life. I believe that when we stay true to ourselves instead of becoming mere products, we excel in our work because we are driven by our experiences, emotions, and values.

On this website, I’d like to share a complete view of my journey, including my disappointing pace in my first half marathon, the exciting internship I had last summer, and my rejection from the student think tank during my first year at university. Because I value life in all its dimensions, I want my work to be a fulfilling and meaningful aspect of who I am, rather than reducing myself to a 'human resource.'

After not getting in and realizing Tokyo University (my second choice) would be unaffordable for me, I decided to study at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
